Needles
5.5 mm/US Size 9 circular needle with 16”/40 cm cable or Size 9 Double Pointed Needles
(DPNs), or 32” cable for Magic Loop, or size required to obtain gauge.

Gauge
13 sts and 18 rounds = 4” / 10 cm in the twisted knit stitch. No blocking is necessary.
The gauge swatch should be knitted in the twisted knit stitch. You do this by knitting the back loop of the stitch, not the front loop as you would for a knit stitch. Knitting from the back loop will give the knit stitch a twist, creating the “twisted knit stitch.”

Sizing
